Every job starts with a safety check. We chock the wheels, lift at the correct jack points and remove the wheel without marking the rim. The tyre is removed from the rim so we can inspect the inside. Quick plugs from the outside are a temporary fix. For a lasting repair we use an internal patch plug method that seals the injury through the carcass and patches the inner liner.

The repair process is clean and controlled. We mark the injury, ream the channel, apply vulcanizing cement, install the patch plug from inside, roll the patch to bond it, then trim the stem flush on the tread side. The bead and rim are cleaned before refitting. We inflate to the door sticker pressure and test for leaks with soapy water. If the injury is in the shoulder or sidewall the tyre is unsafe to repair. In that case we quote a replacement and can fit a new tyre on site when available.

Run flat and low profile tyres need extra care. Some run flats are not recommended for repair after extended driving on zero pressure. We check the sidewall condition before we proceed. If the wheel shows bend or crack we flag it and help plan repair or replacement. When a TPMS sensor is fitted we avoid damage during deflation and bead work, replace a worn valve core if needed and reset the warning light before handover.

Balance and ride quality matter. Where portable balancing fits your wheel size we balance on site. If a workshop machine is the better choice we fit on site then route you for a same day balance so your steering stays steady. Wheel nuts are torqued to spec and valve caps are fitted before the car touches the ground.
